I wish someone had explained this to me years ago! Sounds so simple and it is, the trick is to remember what goes in the chops and the other is to stop eating BEFORE feeling full.

This is very helpful info Denee.

the truth

Some people should pay attention to what comes out of their mouth too.

What a wonderfull thing,to have a weight problem.Lets face it everyone does.but it is up to the individual to take control of it.But with all the increadable year round source and supply at our disposal,it does make it very difficult.OH! the choices!sometimes we cannot even make up our own mind, what to have.
To control my weight i keep the carorie count to about 1500 per day.It goes down slowly and you feel better.
this is what i use:-b'fast...1/2cup allbran,1/2 banana 1/2cup milk .all the tea/coffee you want, but no sugar.
lunch:- whole wheat sandwhich,2 slice bread,mustard (no Mayo)2 slices ham,1 slice cheese,4 slices tomato 4 slices onion.enjoy
drink water and tea/coffe no sugar.
supper:- 4oz of fish/chicken it often creeps up in weight, but no more than 8oz.with steamed veggies. No gravy and no butter on the veggies.try mustard,it is zero callories. Now for desert:-1/2 apple and 1/2 banana cut up with 1/4 cup yogurt.
Of course you need to do some exercise (ie)walking or swimming.
But did you notice that i did not mention any of the "NICE"things,That we can all afford.Bermuda is the only place in the world where everyone has money in their pocket(s)
But some time ago all of this was put into prospective for me.
Upon talking to an indian friend, from India.
It had taken about (10) ten years to get his green card.to work in the states.
I indicate that i would have been tempted to give them the middle finger, for taking so long.
NO NO NO was the answer because we always wanted to live in a country where the poor people are fat.
so think about that for a few moments, especially the bitching moaning complaining individuals amongst us.

Thank you for writing this. I remember nutrition being a huge concern in Canada growing up. Now the chemical-filled horrors peopel ingest is reminiscent of Orwellian proletarian food.
