Canuck In Bermuda

I was there for the "incident", about 4 cars back - he was doing a LOT more than trying to have a talk with the woman in the car. She managed to lock the driver's side door (passenger side would have been closer to the bus) just before he got to her, but not the back door. He then proceeded to open the rear door and get his entire upper body into the car and you could see it rocking back and forth, I highly doubt he was trying to have a simple conversation. Once he was finally pulled away and appeared to be going back to his bus he again charged the car and it looked like he was trying to rip the windshield wipers off. The man should be criminally charged based on what I saw.

I'm sure he was a "good, upstanding Christian man" though, just like the drunk ferry pilot. I'm a little surprised we didn't hear something along the lines of "you're not really angry unless there's steam coming out your ears, like in the cartoons" after we were told a few months ago that if you can still stand you're not drunk!

Even the kids on the bus (this was just before 5pm) were virtually silent rather than chanting "fight, fight!" or something similar - I mean, the woman herself is afraid to give a statement! Feel the love indeed

Andrew

When a child throws a tantrum and the parents yield to the child's demands, the result is predictable - more tantrums. Giving in to the demands of the workers only encourages more interruptions in service.

This latest incident, in concert with the drunk ferry polot, has eroded any support that the union had with non-union residents of Bermuda.
